The Woodstock Fair is back for its 188th edition this Thursday!
The annual Woodstock Fair is this weekend- running today (Thursday) through Sunday.
General Manager of the Woodstock Agricultural Society Sandra Brown tells us that even after 188 years, the fair maintains its agricultural roots.
The agricultural side of the fair includes participation by area 4H Club members. Brown says there's also a significant entertainment component for children.
Brown says outdoors, there's lots of action on wheels starting with Friday's vintage and classic car show.
Best of all says Brown, entry to the Woodstock Fair grounds is free.
The only pay events are Friday's vintage auto show, Saturday's tractor-pull and Sunday's demolition derby.
There's no Farmers Market on Saturday, but there will be free parking in front of the market building and by the Civic Centre.
