United Way Oxford’s Coldest Night of the Year walk is returning to Tillsonburg for its third year, bringing the community together to support local housing and basic-needs programs.
The event, sponsored by ERTH Power, will take place on Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Lion’s Auditorium, with a route that winds through downtown Tillsonburg.
The family-friendly fundraiser supports the Tillsonburg Light House and several Tillsonburg community programs that offer housing support, food security services, counselling, eviction prevention and outreach.
“Every dollar raised in Tillsonburg will stay in Tillsonburg,” said Kelly Gilson, Executive Director of United Way Oxford. She says residents will see their donations at work in vital programs across the community.
Since 2023, the Tillsonburg Light House has helped 28 people through its transitional housing program. Staff provide daily support, life-skills training and help residents connect with health and well-being services as they work toward stable, independent housing.
