Construction began in September and will continue until December.
Sierra Construction has been awarded a contract for major infrastructure improvements along Cranberry Road, extending services to the town’s northern limit.
Currently, only 160 metres of Cranberry Road is serviced. The project will add 640 metres of new water, sanitary and storm lines, as well as fresh pavement and sidewalks, to support ongoing growth in the area.
Construction began in September and will continue until December before pausing for winter. Work will resume in March 2026 and is expected to finish by July.
During construction, Cranberry Road will be reduced to one lane for local traffic during working hours.
Residents affected by project billing can participate in a public information call-in session hosted by Oxford County Public Works on Tuesday, November 25th, between 4 and 6 p.m. Appointments can be booked by calling 519-539-9800 ext. 3087 or emailing publicworks@oxfordcounty.ca.
