An Oxford OPP officer spotted unsafe driving during a foot patrol in Tillsonburg on August 10th.
A routine foot patrol in Tillsonburg led to impaired driving charges for a 22-year-old Port Rowan man.
Oxford OPP say the incident happened around 9:40 p.m. on Sunday, August 10th, when an officer noticed concerning driving behaviour on Bloomer Street.
Following an investigation, the man was charged with operation while impaired (BAC 80 plus), dangerous driving, and several Highway Traffic Act offences.
This includes:
- Fail to Stop for Red Light
- Having Care or Control of a Motor Vehicle with Liquor Readily Available
- Having Care or Control of a Motor Vehicle with Cannabis Readily Available
- Drive Motor Vehicle - No Mudguards
- Fail to Properly Wear Seatbelt
He was released from custody and is set to appear in Woodstock court on October 7th to answer to the charges.
