Four children were taken to hospital by ambulance with what have been described as minor injuries, following the collision on Old Stage Road.
Four children were transported to hospital with minor injuries following a school bus crash in Norwich Township Wednesday morning.
At approximately 8:55 a.m., members of the Ontario Provincial Police Oxford detachment responded to a single-vehicle collision on Old Stage Road.
Police say a school bus carrying approximately 27 elementary school students left the roadway and entered a ditch.
Oxford County Fire Services and Oxford County Paramedic Services also attended the scene.
Four children were taken to hospital by ambulance with what have been described as minor injuries. No other injuries have been reported at this time.
Old Stage Road is currently closed between Middletown Line and Old 14 Line and is expected to remain closed for several hours as the investigation continues.
Police say the cause of the crash remains under investigation, and updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
