Two women injured following incident in downtown London
A 20-year-old Hamilton man is facing charges after a downtown bar altercation that left two women with minor injuries.
London police say the incident happened around 10:40 p.m. on Friday on John Street. Two men got into a verbal argument that turned physical, and one allegedly used pepper spray.
Two female patrons were unintentionally sprayed while trying to leave the area and were treated by paramedics.
Police later arrested Anthony Benjamin without incident. He’s charged with assault with a weapon and administering a noxious thing.
Investigators are asking to speak with the unidentified male victim and any other witnesses. Benjamin is scheduled to appear in court on November 25th.
