Ingersoll and Tillsonburg Hospitals move toward full integration

Under the shared name Rural Roads Health Services.

Ingersoll and Tillsonburg’s hospitals are moving forward together under a new identity. Alexandra Hospital in Ingersoll (AHI) and Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital (TDMH) will fully integrate on April 1, 2026, under the shared name Rural Roads Health Services (RRHS). Each hospital will keep its individual site name, while operating under one common board and brand.

The new visual identity was created with input from Oxford County’s communications team and reflects both hospitals’ history and their shared future. The RRHS logo features road imagery, symbolizing the journey toward integration, along with colours drawn from each hospital’s past. A new green tone has also been added, representing growth, care, and new beginnings.

Team members had the first look at the new brand during a week of activities in August. New banners are now displayed at hospital entrances, and a unified website is live at www.ruralroadshealthservices.ca. Social media channels will also reflect the updated brand.

In the months ahead, memos, emails, and external signage will transition to the RRHS identity. Leaders say the move strengthens small community hospitals and ensures sustainable health care for rural residents in Oxford County and beyond.

Residents are invited to follow RRHS on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram for updates as the two hospitals continue their journey together.
