The contribution supports the hospital’s move to the OneChart electronic health record system.
The Ingersoll Community Foundation has made a major investment in local healthcare, donating $100,000 to the Alexandra Hospital Foundation’s OneChart = One Million “Charting the Future” Campaign. The contribution supports the hospital’s move to the OneChart electronic health record system, which aims to improve patient care, streamline communication, and strengthen healthcare delivery across the region.
In a statement, the Foundation said the gift reflects its long-standing commitment to the people of Ingersoll. The donation also honours the legacy of the late Murray Borndahl, the Foundation’s co-founder and former Chair, who believed that strong local healthcare is the backbone of a strong community.
“This gift is, in many ways, a reflection of him,” the Foundation shared, noting Borndahl’s lifelong dedication to ensuring residents had access to quality care close to home.
Nadia Facca, CEO and President of Alexandra Hospital and Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital, expressed deep gratitude for the support. She said the investment in OneChart will help hospital staff deliver the best care possible and further the mission of providing accessible, high-quality services for local families.
