London police are looking into fatal crash
A man has died following a collision between a scooter and a vehicle in east London.
Police say emergency crews were called to the 1400-block of Beckworth Avenue around 4:20 p.m. Wednesday after reports of a serious crash.
The scooter operator was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries and later died. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene.
The London Police Service Road Safety Section is leading the investigation.
Police are asking anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam, residential, or business surveillance footage from 4:10 to 4:25 p.m. Wednesday to contact them or Crime Stoppers.
