Woman dies after being struck in north‑end London parking lot.
London police are investigating a fatal motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian in the city’s north end.
Emergency crews were called to a parking lot in the 1400-block of Beaverbrook Avenue, west of Wonderland Road, around 3 p.m. Tuesday after reports of a collision involving a female pedestrian.
Police say the woman was taken to hospital by paramedics with life-threatening injuries and later died.
The driver involved remained at the scene. The investigation has been taken over by the London Police Service Road Safety Section and is ongoing.
The parking lot northwest of the Beaverbrook Avenue and Wonderland Road intersection was closed to both vehicle and pedestrian traffic while officers continued their work.
Investigators are asking anyone who was in the area between 2:45 and 3:10 p.m., or who may have dashcam, residential or business surveillance footage, to contact London police.
