Incident at London park remains under investigation
Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man after an alleged incident involving three girls near a north-end park.
The London Police Service says officers were called to Attawandaron Park around 1:20 p.m. Sunday after reports of a suspicious person.
Investigators say three girls encountered a man walking a small white dog on the pathway. During the exchange, the man allegedly made inappropriate comments about his genitals.
The girls left the area, informed their parents, and police were contacted. Officers searched the area but did not locate the suspect.
Police describe him as a white man, between 30 and 40 years old, about 5’9” to 6’0” tall, with a medium build and brown hair below the ears. He was wearing shorts and a T-shirt.
Anyone with information or video from the area between 12:30 and 1 p.m. Sunday is asked to contact police.
The investigation is ongoing.
