London Police are appealing to the public for assistance following a sexual assault investigation.

Around 12:10 a.m. on Sunday, September 28, 2025, a woman was waiting for a ride share near Richmond and Hyman streets when she was approached by a man she did not know. When the vehicle arrived, the man helped her inside and entered the back seat with her.

Later, in the area of Wonderland Road South and Westminster Drive, the woman became ill and asked the driver to pull over. Police say both passengers exited, and the man told the driver to leave. After the driver departed, the woman was sexually assaulted. She managed to escape and flagged down a passerby, who quickly called 9-1-1.

Officers, including members of the Canine Unit, searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect.

The man is described as Brown, approximately 5’8” with a medium build, short dark brown hair, clean shaven, wearing a dark blue long-sleeve shirt, brown pants, and white shoes.

Anyone with information, dash-cam, or surveillance footage is asked to contact London Police at (519) 661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
