Oxford MPP Ernie Hardeman is echoing warnings from Woodstock Police about a surge in bank card pickup scams after his office was contacted by scammers.
Fraudsters posing as bank employees have tricked residents, including seniors, into handing over their cards, resulting in losses of up to $40,000.
