Eligible groups can apply for up to $250,000
The Ontario government is investing $7.7 million to launch the Indian Residential School Community Engagement Fund.
The program will support culturally appropriate mental health and wellness programs for survivors and families affected by burial investigations at former Residential Schools.
Eligible groups can apply for up to $250,000 for projects including public education, survivor gatherings, commemoration initiatives, and research.
Applications are open until September 8th on the Ontario government’s Transfer Payment Ontario website.
