Oxford County Council looks closer at multi-use trail between Norwich and Tillsonburg
Oxford County is considering a partnership with the Oxford County Trails Council to develop a new multi-use trail between Norwich and Tillsonburg.
The proposed project would convert a former railway corridor into a trail for non-motorized use, such as hiking and cycling, with construction spread over two years.
If approved, the first phase in 2026 would be funded through $90,000 in secured donations and pledges raised by volunteers. Final work, estimated at $300,000, would be covered through the County’s 2027 budget and additional fundraising.
