There's a new Deputy Warden in Oxford County. Bernia Martin who sits on County Council and Woodstock City Council
was picked by her peers to serve the one year term.
Oxford Warden Marcus Ryan tells us the deputy position is a must have.
Ryan says more generally the Deputy Warden is a huge help in terms of assisting the Warden with a variety of tasks.
Martin's term as Deputy Warden started immediately upon selection, taking over from this year's Deputy, Ingersoll Mayor Brian Petrie.
