Oxford County is bracing for some changes to waste management in 2026
The 2026 Oxford County Waste Collection Schedule is now available, offering curbside collection dates and maps for all eight area municipalities.
In Woodstock, residents will see major changes as new six-day collection cycles take effect January 2nd, including updated zones and pickup days. The County says residents should watch their mail for a letter outlining their new collection zone.
January also marks the launch of the green bin organics program in Woodstock and South-West Oxford. More details are available at oxfordcounty.ca/greenbin.
Blue box recycling is now handled by Circular Materials, with municipal information posted at circularmaterials.ca/oxfordcounty.
