Officer say the 50-year-old initially failed to stop for police.
A 50-year-old Woodstock man is facing alcohol related charges.
The accused was arrested after officers attempted to stop a vehicle this week (August 12th) in the area of Upper Thames Drive.
Police say at first, the driver failed to stop.
Once in custody the man was charged with several offences including driving while impaired, dangerous operation of a vehicle and flight from police.
