A key downtown corridor will see traffic slowdowns as the City of London begins major upgrades to Ridout Street North
Drivers and cyclists can expect delays along a busy stretch of Ridout Street North as the city begins road rehabilitation work this week.
Lane reductions are in place between Horton and King streets to allow for curb and concrete repairs, repaving, and cycling improvements. The work is expected to continue through to November 2025.
Pedestrians are asked to follow posted signage around any temporary sidewalk closures, while transit riders can visit the London Transit Commission website for updates on detours or service changes.
Motorists are encouraged to use navigation apps such as Waze or Google Maps to find alternate routes. The city is reminding everyone to follow signage and barriers to ensure safety for workers and road users during construction.
