The deadline to enter the 10th annual Teen Photography Contest is August 17. The contest is open to teens ages 12–18 with an active Oxford County Library card. To celebrate 10 years of creativity, this year’s contest features four popular categories: Around the World, Activism, Blast from the Past, and Oxford County. Teens may submit one photo per category by email.
New for 2025, free Teen Photography Workshops led by local photographer Courtney Richardson will teach participants the basics of capturing great photos using phones or cameras. Space is limited and registration is required with the final workshop happening tomorrow at the Princeton Library.
Started in 2016 by the Tillsonburg Public Library, the contest has grown across Oxford County and is part of the Summer Reading Club program. Prizes are generously provided by the Thamesford Public Library Advisory Committee and Oxford County Library. Winning photos will be featured online and selected by public vote.
