Three women charged, two men wanted after guns, drugs and stolen motorcycles seized in London police raid

Major investigation in London leads to three arrests

Three London women are facing numerous charges while police search for two men after officers seized firearms, drugs and stolen property during a raid in the city’s east end.

London police say members of the Street Crime Unit, assisted by the Emergency Response Unit, executed a search warrant at a home near Crumlin Sideroad and Trafalgar Street on Oct. 24 as part of a stolen property investigation.

Officers say they recovered an unloaded .40-calibre handgun, a loaded magazine, an unloaded sawed-off .22-calibre rifle, a loaded semi-automatic tactical shotgun, about two kilograms of suspected cocaine and two stolen motorcycles.

Police arrested three women at the scene. Kristy D. Ortmanns, 37, Amanda Sickles, 18, and 24-year-old Breeze Cameron are jointly charged with multiple firearm-related offences, drug trafficking, and possession of stolen property over $5,000. Cameron is also charged with failing to comply with a release order and disobeying a court order.

Warrants have been issued for two men whose whereabouts are unknown. London police say 44-year-old Richard Kyle Newstead and 26-year-old Evan Williams of Stratford are wanted on the same joint charges. Williams faces additional counts including breach of probation and possession of firearms while prohibited.

Police released descriptions and images of the wanted men and are asking the public not to approach them. Anyone who sees them is urged to call 911.

All three arrested women remain in custody, and the investigation continues.
