A 23-year-old Tillsonburg man is facing several charges following a late-night disturbance that led to an altercation with police.
On October 11, 2025, around 1:30 a.m., Oxford OPP officers were called to a disturbance on Trailview Drive in Tillsonburg. When officers arrived, they determined grounds to arrest the individual involved. During the arrest, the accused allegedly assaulted multiple officers.
Fortunately, none of the officers were injured, and no other injuries were reported.
As a result, Landon Duckworth, 23, of Tillsonburg, has been charged with assaulting a peace officer, uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm, mischief under $5,000, and being intoxicated in a public place.
Duckworth was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock later in November.
