A new art installation honoring those who have served Canada has been unveiled in Tillsonburg.
The Veterans Memorial Bench was introduced this morning outside the Station Arts Centre, facing the Veterans’ Memorial Walkway.
The bench pays tribute to veterans and active service members and was celebrated at a special ceremony attended by veterans, Legion members, Military History Club members, Station Arts Centre staff, the Tillsonburg BIA, Mayor Gilvesy, and many community members.
Special thanks were given to Tillsonburg Legion Branch #153 for supporting the project and helping bring this meaningful tribute to life. The bench will serve as a lasting symbol of remembrance and gratitude for generations to come.
