OPP Searching for driver who fled the scene
Highway 401 westbound was closed between Oxford Road 3 and Cedar Creek Road this morning to investigate a fatal collision.
My Broadcasting Corporation spoke with OPP Constable Matthew Foster who is at the scene.
The operator of the tow truck was pronounced dead at the scene.
Constable Fisher says police are attempting to locate the driver and the vehicle they were operating. Both left the collision scene.

Fisher says specially trained traffic collision reconstruction experts are at the 401 fatality scene, piecing together the events leading up to the tow truck driver being struck and killed while they were on-the-job.
