Two arrested after break-and-enter at Norwich Township home

Officers arrived and arrested both suspects at the scene.

Two people are facing charges after a break-and-enter at an unoccupied home in Norwich Township.

Members of the Ontario Provincial Police Oxford detachment were called to a property on Beaconsfield Road on February 9, 2026, at about 5:50 p.m. Police received a report of two individuals breaking into the residence. Officers arrived and arrested both suspects at the scene.

Robert Gogo, 51, of St. Thomas, is charged with break and enter and theft under $5,000. He has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock on May 5, 2026.

Isaack Martens, 30, of Bayham, is charged with break and enter, theft under $5,000, and two counts of failing to comply with a release order. He remains in custody awaiting a bail hearing.

Police thanked the public for the quick report and remind residents to call if they see suspicious activity.
