The team from the London, area has been disbanded for the rest of the season.
A boys U15 hockey team in the London, Ontario area has been disbanded for the rest of the season following serious allegations of misconduct in the locker room.
According to Rick Westhead of TSN, several players allegedly used their phones to record teammates naked in the shower and dressing room. The videos were reportedly shared on Snapchat.
Hockey Canada’s independent third-party investigator is now reviewing the complaint, which was filed in January. The allegations also include claims that one player repeatedly exposed himself to teammates in the locker room.
A source familiar with the complaint said investigators are also examining whether coaches were regularly absent from the locker room, which would violate Hockey Canada policy.
A complaint has been made to the London Police Service.
