Tillsonburg council has approved the addition of 10 accessible parking spaces and new accessibility signage at the Dave Johnson Memorial Dog Park, Lake Lisgar Waterpark and the soccer park. The $3,500 project will be funded through the town’s 2026 parks operating budget.

The fundraiser had raised more than half the funds needed for the new dog park, which is set to be located at the back of the baseball diamond at Matheson Park. Interested locals can attend the BBQ fundraiser on June 6th to help support the initiative.
